similar to 'Thor Alex', this light yellow cultivar has narrow elliptic petals with acute to blunt tips. Petals are white from bases to lower centers suffusing light yellow darkening in the upper centers and apexes. Lower petals are bluntly tipped with a faint flush of red near the apexes. Lower petal midribs are reddish, most evident from the dorsal side. Upper petals have pointed to acute tips and a thin pencil line of orange red along the upper third of the petal margins. Tubes are white. Stamens are white. A magenta-red style carries a magenta-pink stigma just past the anther cluster. Flowers are temperature sensitive. Sometimes confused with 'Thor Alex', 'Thor Alec' flowers are much lighter. There are photos on the internet incorrectly labelling 'Thor Alec' with a white flower.
