	narrow lanceolate petals have acute tips. Petals have pinkish carmine bases suffusing to carmine red centers margins and tips. Frontal view petal count is 13. Filaments are pinkish, curling inward around the style. Stigma is white with 5 lobes. Ovary receptacle is dull reddish to brownish green. Mature buds are dark carmine, sharply pointed.
