petals are red to reddish brown at base and mid stripe with a bright purple edge. Flowers are 2.5 cm. in length, 4 cm. in width. Petals are obovate with cuspidate tips. Frontal view petal count is 12. Pistil is red to brown with 4 white stigma lobes. Filaments are bright purple. Ovary is 0.7 cm. bronze green with 4 ridges.
