petals have silvery white throats suffusing pale magenta pink with bright magenta edging. Lower petals have larger silvery white areas with a pale magenta flush. Upper petals are spatulate with pointed tips. Lower petals are lanceolate to sagittate with obtuse tips. Silvery white tube is 3.5 cm. in length. Flower length is 7 cm. with upper width 4 cm. and lower width 3 cm. Ovary is 1 cm. and faintly 5 angled. Australian bloom season is long, from late April to early July (early to early late season).
