edged red with silvery orange throat suffusing to an orange center. Lower petals scarlet with rosy silver throats, darker rose on the reverses. Tube is silvery pinkish mauve. Upper petals are small, spatulate with cuspidate tips. Lower petals spatulate with obtuse to rounded tips. Flower length 6 cm. Upper width 2.5 cm., lower width 5 cm. Tube length 2.5 cm. Ovary receptacle 0.6 cm, upturned, four angled, pinkish amber to opaque pale yellowish green. Flowers are a normal shape. Flowering season is in June (Australia).
