XXScrenateICRA Registrationplant is a miniature truncata type. Medium to dark green phylloclades are smaller than those of Little Angel's Dream, averaging half the length and width. Phylloclades average one marginal axil per side with small apical dentitions present. The sibling, 'Little Angel's Dream' was previously considered one of the smallest truncata types. As an unbloomed seedling, 'Little Saskatoon Pelican' was sent to Glen Lord the summer of 2016. It was named for the juvenile White Pelicans that gather every summer below the weir on the South Saskatchewan River which transects the Canadian prairie city of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
