As an unbloomed seedling, 'Little Saskatoon Pelican' was sent to Glen Lord the summer of 2016. It was named for the juvenile White Pelicans that gather every summer below the weir on the South Saskatchewan River which transects the Canadian prairie city of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. |
