deep orange rose with silvery carmine rose throat. Lower petals with silvery carmine-rose center lines. Tube pale silvery carmine rose. Upper and lower petals lanceolate with pointed tips. Flower length 9 cm. Upper & lower width 3 cm. Tube length 3 cm. Ovary receptacle 0.7 cm., upturned, pear shape, yellowish green to amber. Flowers very recurved, double bell shape. Flowering mid May to mid/late June (Australia). The Hoare article in Cactus & Succulent Journal NSW, June 1987 states: flower length 7 cm., upper petal width 4.5 cm., lower petal width 3 cm. Ovary receptacle and color information the same.
