Petal centers are intense crimson-pink, deepening slightly toward the apexes and margins. Quilled petals are narrow, elongated, and acutely pointed. The floral tube is deep pink to cerise-red with lighter pink shading near the throat. A bright pink stigma extends well beyond the pale cream anther cluster.
