deep orange magenta flowers, silvery bases, orange centers. Lower petals have magenta pink bases. Tube pale silvery carmine rose. Upper petals spatulate with pointed tips, lower petals spatulate with obtuse tips. Flower length 7 cm. Upper width 3 cm., lower width 3.5 cm. Tube length 3 cm. Ovary receptacle 0.7 cm., short, upturned, pinkish amber hue. Blooms late May to mid June (Australia). Butterfly form (recurved) flowers McM&H description: pale orange.
