red violet with carmine red tips. Flowers are 3 cm. in length, 4 cm. in width. Petals are elliptic with acute tips. Frontal view petal count is15. Pistil is red violet with 5 white stigma lobes. Filaments are red violet. Ovary is 0.5 cm. deep reddish hue, 5 ribbed on a rotate to funnel shape.

Segments are up to 6 cm in length, 1.5 cm. in width with 3 - 4 areoles per side within small crenations. Yellowish white, short bristling occurs in linear and lateral areoles. New growth is pale yellowish green.
