rednobuds are fuchsia pink. Mature, nearly open buds carry a fuchsia flush on the petal tips. Mature flowers exhibit long, narrow petals with the same red coloration ventrally and dorsally. Petal tips are blunt. Margins curl under slightly adding to the narrow appearance. Marginally coloration is slightly darker than center coloration. Petals have a small white base (macule). Tube is pinkish white, possibly temperature sensitive. Magenta-red style and stigma extends well beyond the pink tinted filaments. Pale yellow pollen coats the anthers. Flowers display a degree of recurving.
