pale salmon orange flowers with pale rosy mauve throats and a deeper edge line to lower half of petal bases. Lower petals are pale silvery apricot with paler rosy mauve throats and centers. Tube pale silvery rosy mauve. Upper petals lanceolate with pointed tips. Lower petals sagittate with acute to pointed tips. Flower length 9 cm. Upper width 4 cm., lower width 7 cm. Tube length 3.5 cm. Ovary receptacle 1 cm., upturned, four to five faint ridges, yellow to yellow green. Flower shape normal to butterfly (recurved petals). Flowers mid May to mid June (Australia).
